New South Wales Repealed ActsThis legislation has been repealed.
(cf Traffic Act, s 10ZI)
(1) An auto-dismantler must provide to the Authority the information prescribed by the regulations concerning each late model motor vehicle that is demolished or dismantled (anywhere in Australia) in the course of the business carried on by the auto-dismantler.Maximum penalty: 20 penalty units.
(2) The information required to be provided under this section must be provided:(a) subject to paragraph (b), within 7 days after work is commenced in the course of that business for the purpose of demolishing or dismantling the motor vehicle and before the part of the motor vehicle to which the vehicle identifier is attached is sold or otherwise disposed of in the course of that business, or(b) within the time prescribed by the regulations.
