Procuring or hire of motor vehicle or trailer by fraud or misrepresentation

53 Procuring or hire of motor vehicle or trailer by fraud or misrepresentation

(cf Traffic Act, s 8B)

(1) A person must not procure the use or hire of any motor vehicle or trailer by fraud or misrepresentation.
Maximum penalty: 20 penalty units.
(2) A person must not aid or abet a person to procure the use or hire of any motor vehicle or trailer by fraud or misrepresentation.
Maximum penalty: 20 penalty units.
