PUBLIC TRUSTEE ACT 1913 - SECT 59

Regulations

59 Regulations

(1) The Governor may make regulations:
(a) for the conduct of the business of the Public Trustee,
(b) for determining the duties of members of staff,
(c) for the custody of all property placed with the Public Trustee and the instruments of title relating thereto,
(d) for fixing scales of commission and other charges to be made by the Public Trustee under this Act,
(e) for the receipt and payment of moneys under this Act,
(f) for keeping, rendering, and auditing accounts under this Act,
(g) for determining in what securities other than those specified in section 36 moneys may be invested for a period not exceeding twelve months,
(h) for the safe custody of securities,
(i) for the custody of the moneys in the Public Trustee’s account, and the payment of moneys to or withdrawal of moneys from such account, and the mode of keeping and auditing the said account, and any other account that may be deemed necessary in the business of the Public Trustee,
(j) for any object or purpose that may be deemed necessary for the administration of this Act.
