Definitions

4A Definitions

In this Act, except so far as the context otherwise indicates or requires:
"Adult" means a person who has attained the age of eighteen years.
"Court" means the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
"Member of staff" means any person employed under Chapter 2 of the Public Sector Employment and Management Act 2002 to assist the Public Trustee in the exercise of his or her functions under this Act, and includes a person appointed as a deputy Public Trustee as referred to in section 6.
"Minor" means a person under the age of eighteen years.
"Prescribed registry" means such registry of the Court as may be prescribed by rule of Court.
"Protected person" means a protected person within the meaning of the Mental Health Act 1958 .
