(1) Upon a protected person who was a person under guardianship (being a person the management of whose estate is committed to the Protective Commissioner) or a patient ceasing to be such a person under guardianship or a patient or at any time thereafter, the Protective Commissioner may, if satisfied that the protected person is capable of managing his or her affairs, certify that management of the estate of the protected person by the Protective Commissioner is terminated.
(2) Where the Protective Commissioner certifies as referred to in subsection (1) in respect of the estate of a protected person, the order that the estate be subject to management under this Act shall cease to have any further effect.
