New South Wales Repealed ActsThis legislation has been repealed.
(1) A patient or person detained in a hospital or an affected person under a community counselling order or a community treatment order being treated by a health care agency may notify the medical superintendent or Director of the health care agency, as the case requires, orally or in writing, that the patient or person desires to see an official visitor.
(2) Within 2 days after the receipt of any such notification from a patient or person, the medical superintendent or Director must inform an official visitor of the patient’s or person’s desire to see an official visitor.
