For the purposes of this Act:
(a) an
"Australian legal practitioner" is an Australian lawyer who holds a current local practising certificate or a current interstate practising certificate, and
(b) a
"local legal practitioner" is an Australian lawyer who holds a current local practising certificate, and
(c) an
"interstate legal practitioner" is an Australian lawyer who holds a current interstate practising certificate, but not a local practising certificate.
Note : The application of Chapter 4 (Complaints and discipline) to conduct of Australian legal practitioners is broadened by Division 2 of Part 4.1 of that Chapter.
