Supply of orders when remaining allocations are low
61 Supply of orders when remaining allocations are low
(1) If, in the opinion of the Minister, the total remaining volume of water in
access licence allocation accounts has reduced to a level where the continuous
delivery of water orders would involve unacceptably high delivery losses, then
water orders may be grouped and released periodically.
(2) The Minister
should consult with irrigation industry representatives regarding the
circumstances under which action under subclause (1) should be taken and the
manner of management.
