Available water determinations for local water utility access licences
34 Available water determinations for local water utility access licences
(1) The water supply system shall be managed so that available water

components can be maintained through a repeat of the worst period of low
inflows to this water source prior to the commencement of this Plan, as
represented in flow information held by the Department.
(2) Sufficient
volumes of water must be set aside from assured inflows into this water source
and in reserves held in Pindari Dam and Glenlyon Dam water storages, to
provide for subclause (1).
(3) The available water determination for local
water utility access licences made for the commencement of each water year
shall be 100% of share components whenever possible.
(4) The sum of available
water determinations made for local water utility access licences in any water
year shall not exceed 100% of share components.
(5) This Plan recognises that
the water requirement of local water utility access licences may increase
during the term of this Plan in accordance with clause 26 and section 66 of
the Act.
(6) The volumes of water set aside from assured inflows into this
water source and in reserves held in Pindari Dam and Glenlyon Dam water
storages shall be adjusted as required over the course of this Plan, if
