New South Wales Consolidated RegulationsConsent must not be granted to the subdivision of land or to the erection of a building on land which is subject to bush fire hazards by reason of vegetation on the land or on any adjacent land unless, in the opinion of the consent authority:
(a) adequate provision is made for access for firefighting vehicles, and
(b) adequate safeguards are adopted in the form of firebreaks, reserves and fire radiation zones, and
(c) adequate water supplies are available for firefighting purposes.
