WOOLLAHRA LOCAL ENVIRONMENTAL PLAN 1995 - REG 21A
Development at No 59 William Street, Double Bay
21A Development at No 59 William Street, Double Bay
(1) This clause applies to Lot 1, DP 212187 and Lot 1, DP 212188, being land
known as 59 William Street, Double Bay, as shown edged heavy black on the map
marked “ Woollahra Local Environmental Plan 1995 (Amendment No 14) ”.

Subject to subclause (3), nothing in this plan prevents a person, with the
consent of the Council, from carrying out development on the land to which
this clause applies for the purpose of the John Passmore Museum of Art.
(3)
The Council must not grant consent to development referred to in subclause (2)
after the expiration of two years from the day on which Woollahra Local
Environmental Plan 1995 (Amendment No 14) took effect.
(4) Nothing in
subclause (3) prevents the Council from granting consent to the carrying out
of alterations or extensions to, or the rebuilding of, a building or place
being used for a purpose for which consent has been granted in accordance with
this clause.
(5) In this clause:
"John Passmore Museum of Art" means the building at 59 William Street, Double
Bay, in which works of art, being the Passmore Trust collection and the Wrobel
collection of art are stored and displayed, and in which uses and activities
ancillary to its use as a museum and gallery are accommodated.
