17 Subdivision of land in Zone No 2 (v)

(1) The Council shall not consent to an application to subdivide land within Zone No 2 (v) to create an allotment that, in the opinion of the Council, is intended to be used for the purpose of a dwelling-house unless the allotment has an area of 550 square metres or more.

(2) Despite subclause (1), Council may consent to a subdivision of land within Zone No 2 (v) that creates allotments having an area of less than 550 square metres if the allotments are, in the opinion of the Council, to be used for the erection of villa units in accordance with clause 20.
