New South Wales Consolidated Regulations New South Wales Consolidated RegulationsThe consent authority shall not consent to development for the purpose of an extractive industry on prime crop and pasture land, unless it is satisfied that there is an unsatisfied demand for the material to be extracted, with suitable deposits of that material not known to be available in a significant quantity within a reasonable distance, other than in, on or under that prime crop and pasture land.
