WATER (PART 2--GENERAL) REGULATION 1997 - REG 24

24 Giving effect to transfers of rights

(1) A permanent transfer of rights to take and use water is to be effected by the issue of a new entitlement to the transferee.

(2) A temporary transfer of rights to take and use water is to be effected by altering the conditions to which the entitlements of the transferor and transferee are subject.
