"Council Nominations Committee" means the Committee established under clause
3.
"external persons" has the same meaning as it has in section 9 (10) of
the Act.
"rule" means a rule made under this By-law.
"Secretary" means the Secretary to the University.
"the Act" means the University of Newcastle Act 1989 .
