TOW TRUCK INDUSTRY REGULATION 2008 - REG 29

29 Persons who may give towing authorisations

A towing authorisation for the towing of a motor vehicle by a tow truck may only be given by:

(a) the owner or driver of the motor vehicle to be towed, or

(b) a police officer, or

(c) an authorised officer.
