New South Wales Consolidated Regulations New South Wales Consolidated RegulationsThe Council, when considering an application to erect a building on an allotment of land upon which there is an item of the environmental heritage, may exclude from its calculations of the floor space of the buildings erected on the allotment the floor space of the item of the environmental heritage:
(a) for the purposes of determining the floor space ratio, and
(b) for the purposes of determining the number of parking spaces to be provided on the site,but only if, in the opinion of the Council, that action would achieve the purposes of conservation and enhancement of the item of the environmental heritage.
