SECURITY INDUSTRY REGULATION 2007 - REG 15

15 Competencies: section 15 (1) (c)

(1) Class 1 and class 2 licences For the purposes of section 15 (1) (c) of the Act, the attainment of the approved competency standards, or the approved level of accreditation, for the class of licence sought by the applicant are prescribed in relation to an applicant for a class 1 or class 2 licence.

(2) False qualification certificates A person who obtains, or attempts to obtain, or who creates, issues or produces any document in connection with subclause (1) that is false or misleading in a material particular is guilty of an offence.

Maximum penalty: 20 penalty units.
