ROAD TRANSPORT (VEHICLE REGISTRATION) REGULATION 2007 - REG 76J
Exemptions granted by Minister
76J Exemptions granted by Minister
(1) The Minister may grant an exemption or partial exemption from registration
charges in respect of a chargeable heavy vehicle (other than a
government-owned vehicle) for which there is no other provision for exemption
or partial exemption under this Division if the vehicle: (a) is, in the
Minister’s opinion, used solely or principally as an ambulance, and
(b) is
used by or on behalf of a non-profit organisation having as one of its objects
a charitable, benevolent, philanthropic or patriotic purpose.
(2) The
Minister may grant an exemption or partial exemption from registration charges
in respect of a chargeable heavy vehicle for which there is no other provision
for exemption (other than partial exemption) under this Division if the
vehicle is registered conditionally under this Regulation.
