22 Method of obtaining supply or disposal
(1) The Board may use, or authorise the use of, any method for obtaining
supply of goods and services or disposing of goods it considers provides value
for money.
(2) The Board is not obliged to call tenders despite anything to
the contrary in clause 27. However, if the Board does not call tenders in a
case in which it is required to do so under clause 27: (a) the Board must
approve of a procurement plan or disposal plan, as the case requires, and
(b)
the Board must record in writing its reasons for not calling tenders and
report the matter in the Board’s annual report.
Note: Clause 27 requires
tenders to be called for all period contracts and all other contracts whose
value exceeds an amount determined by the Board.
