New South Wales Consolidated RegulationsThe definition of "real estate agent" in the Act includes a person who carries on business as an auctioneer or agent in respect of any parcel of rural land that has an area of up to 20 hectares.
Note: As the functions of a real estate agent will now include acting on the sale or purchase of rural land with an area of up to 20 hectares, real estate salespersons will also be able to exercise this function.
