New South Wales Consolidated Regulations New South Wales Consolidated RegulationsParramatta Local Environmental Plan 1989 (City Centre) is amended:
(a) by omitting clauses 2 (1) (d) (iii), 11 (1) (c), (2) and (3), 13, 15 (3), 16 (5) (d), 18 (3) (b) and 21-27,
(b) by omitting from clause 5 (1) the definitions of "conservation area", "demolition", "heritage and conservation map", "item of the environmental heritage", "relic" and "renovation",
(c) by inserting in clause 5 (1) in alphabetical order the following definition:"heritage item" has the same meaning as in Parramatta Local Environmental Plan 1996 (Heritage and Conservation) .
(d) by omitting from the Table to clause 9 Item 1 (b) of the matter relating to Zone No 2 (b2) and by inserting instead the following paragraph:(b) to provide opportunities for small scale business and skilled trades as an adjunct to the Centre and as a means of retaining heritage items.
(e) by omitting from the Table to clause 9 Item 1 (c) of the matter relating to Zone No 3 (f) and by inserting instead the following paragraph:(c) to ensure that development is arranged and carried out in a way that preserves views to and from the Centre, and appropriately relates to heritage items within the Centre,
(f) by omitting clause 14 (1) (d) and by inserting instead the following paragraph:(d) the development does not significantly detract from a heritage item, the setting of a heritage item or views to a heritage item from a public place,
(g) by omitting clause 15 (6) and by inserting instead the following subclause:(6) Not more than 30 per cent of the total floor space of a building in Zone No 3 (f) or 3 (f-r), other than a heritage item, shall be erected or used for residential purposes.
(h) by omitting Schedule 2.
