New South Wales Consolidated Regulations New South Wales Consolidated RegulationsFor the purposes of section 52 (2) of the Act, the prescribed minimum necessary qualifications for a registered nurse to be appointed as a director of nursing at a nursing home are:
(a) 5 years post-basic or post-graduate nursing experience, and
(b) 2 years full-time administrative experience in a position of, or more senior than that of, nursing unit manager in a hospital or nursing home.
