52 Persons acting on behalf of government departments and certain statutory
bodies--the Act, s 5
(1) For the Act, section 5(1), a person who is authorised to act on behalf of
the following is prescribed as a person who is not required to hold a licence
under the Act--
(a) a government department of the State of New South Wales or
the Commonwealth,
(b) a statutory body representing the Crown in right of the
State or the Commonwealth.
(2) The exemption applies only in relation to
functions exercised by the person while acting on behalf of the department or
statutory body.
