New South Wales Consolidated Regulations New South Wales Consolidated RegulationsAn employer must ensure that the risk of falls associated with persons working on or passing across roofs that are wholly or partly covered by brittle or fragile roofing material are controlled by use of the following measures:
(a) permanent walkways,
(b) if this is not practicable, adequately secured temporary walkways or other means to prevent the fall of persons working on or passing across the roof.
Maximum penalty: Level 4.
