MARINE SAFETY (GENERAL) REGULATION 2009 - REG 87
Lifejacket must be worn on personal watercraft
(1) Each person on board a personal watercraft must wear an appropriate
lifejacket.
(2) The operator of a personal watercraft must ensure that any
other person on the personal watercraft is wearing an appropriate lifejacket.
Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units.
