MARINE SAFETY (GENERAL) REGULATION 2009 - REG 58A

58A Renewal of marine safety licence

(1) The Maritime Authority may send a notice of renewal to the holder of a marine safety licence.

(2) A notice of renewal is a notice:

(a) addressed to a holder of a marine safety licence, and

(b) stating that, if the marine safety licence is not renewed on or before a specified date, the marine safety licence will expire.

(3) If the Maritime Authority fails to send a notice of renewal, that failure does not affect:

(a) the expiry of the marine safety licence, or

(b) the obligation of a holder of a marine safety licence to renew the licence if a licence is required by or under the Act.
