Applications for marine safety licences
53 Applications for marine safety licences
(1) An application for a marine safety licence must: (a) be made to the
Minister in the approved form, and
(b) be accompanied by the particulars and
documents required by the Minister (including, for example, medical
assessments), and
(c) be accompanied by such proof of identity documentation
as is required by the Minister, and
(d) be accompanied by the relevant fee,
and
(e) comply with any other requirements of this Part in relation to
applications for the type of marine safety licence concerned.
(2) A reference
in this Division to an application for a marine safety licence includes a
reference to an application for a further marine safety licence whether or not
made before or after the expiry of the previous licence.
(3) The Minister may
waive any of the requirements of this Regulation in relation to an application
for a further marine safety licence.
