Definition of “vessel” for purposes of Act
4 Definition of “vessel” for purposes of Act
(1) Any craft used on water that is capable of being used underwater is
declared to be a vessel.
(2) Any pontoon, airdock, floating dock or similar
apparatus, or any floating apparatus used as an accessory in surfing or
bathing or used as flotation equipment by a person being towed by a vessel, is
declared not to be a vessel unless it is a kiteboard or a sailboard.
