Queensland treatment orders relating to New South Wales residents
34 Queensland treatment orders relating to New South Wales residents
(1) A community category involuntary treatment order made under Division 1 of
Part 1 of Chapter 4 of the Mental Health Act 2000 of Queensland is declared to
be an interstate community treatment order for the purposes of Chapter 8 of
the Act.
(2) For the purposes of section 182 of the Act, a
Queensland authorised mental health service is a mental health facility of
another State.
