Declaration of FIFA Women's World Cup 2023 as major event--the Act, s 5
36 Declaration of FIFA Women's World Cup 2023 as major event--the Act, s 5
(1) For the Act, section 5(1), the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023 is declared to
be a major event.
(2) For the Act, section 5(4)(a), the FIFA Women's World
Cup 2023 comprises a women's football tournament and associated events taking
place in Sydney during the major event period at the major event area.
Note--:
The Act, section 4B provides for the major event area to be declared by the
Minister by order published in the Gazette.
