Development of land near adjoining zones
19 Development of land near adjoining zones
(1) This clause applies to land within 50 metres of a boundary between any two
zones under this plan, or between land zoned under this plan and land to which
this plan applies that is not zoned under this plan. However, this clause does
not allow development within Zone No 7 (a) or 7 (b).
(2) Subject to subclause
(3), development may, with consent, be carried out on land to which this
clause applies for any purpose for which development may be carried out in any
adjoining zone.
(3) Consent must not be granted to the carrying out of
development referred to in subclause (2) unless, in the opinion of the consent
authority, the carrying out of the development is desirable due to design,
ownership, servicing or similar requirements.
