LOCAL GOVERNMENT (GENERAL) REGULATION 2005 - REG 389
Signature to electoral paper
389 Signature to electoral paper
(1) An electoral paper that is required to
be signed by a person is to be signed by that person with his or her personal
signature.
(2) If a person who is unable to sign his or her name in writing
makes his or her mark as his or her signature to an electoral paper, the mark
is taken to be his or her personal signature, if it is identifiable as such,
and is made in the presence of a witness who signs the electoral paper as such
witness.
