LOCAL GOVERNMENT (GENERAL) REGULATION 2005 - REG 269
Reports of committees
269 Reports of committees
(1) If in a report of a committee of the council
distinct recommendations are made, the decision of the council may be made
separately on each recommendation.
(2) The recommendations of a committee of
the council are, so far as adopted by the council, resolutions of the council.
(3) If a committee of a council passes a resolution, or makes a
recommendation, during a meeting, or a part of a meeting, that is closed to
the public, the chairperson must: (a) make the resolution or recommendation
public as soon as practicable after the meeting or part of the meeting has
ended, and
(b) report the resolution or recommendation to the next meeting of
the council.
