LOCAL GOVERNMENT (MANUFACTURED HOME ESTATES, CARAVAN PARKS, CAMPING GROUNDS AND MOVEABLE DWELLINGS) REGULATION 2005 - REG 57
Lighting and ventilation
57 Lighting and ventilation
(1) A manufactured home must have adequate
provision for light and ventilation.
(2) A habitable room must have natural
lighting and natural ventilation provided by one or more windows to the
outside air, or by one or more openings into an adjoining room, being windows
or openings having: (a) a total area of at least 10 per cent of the floor area
of the room, and
(b) an area (being at least 5 per cent of the floor area of
the room) that is capable of being opened.
(3) If any part of the natural
lighting or natural ventilation for a habitable room is provided by one or
more openings into an adjoining room, the adjoining room must have natural
lighting and ventilation provided by one or more windows that comply with
subclause (2) in relation to the combined area of both rooms.
