Conservation incentives relating to heritage items
29 Conservation incentives relating to heritage items
(1) A person may, with the consent of the Council, use, for any purpose, a
building that is a heritage item or the land on which that building is
erected.
(2) The Council is not to grant the consent referred to in subclause
(1) unless, in the opinion of the Council: (a) the use would have little or no
adverse effect on the amenity of the area, and
(b) conservation of the
building depends on the Council’s granting consent.
