FOOD REGULATION 2004 - REG 63

Classes of licence

63 Classes of licence

A licence authorising the carrying on of a meat food business may authorise any of the following classes of activity:

(a) the operation of an abattoir,
(b) class 1, 2 or 3 meat processing,
(c) class 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 game meat processing,
(d) the operation of a class 1, 2 or 3 meat van,
(e) the operation of a class 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 game meat van,
(f) the operation of a knackery,
(g) the operation of a rendering plant,
(h) class 1, 2, 3 or 4 animal food processing,
(i) the operation of a class 1, 2 or 3 animal food van,
(j) the operation of meat retail premises.
