When do roads not require development consent?
61 When do roads not require development consent?
(1) Development comprising the construction of roads and associated works,
including bridges, landscaping and drainage, may be carried out without
development consent if it is carried out by or on behalf of a public
authority.
(2) Maintenance and repair of an existing constructed road may be
carried out without development consent.
(3) Development comprising the
construction of roads and associated works may be carried out without consent
if it is ordinarily ancillary to development allowed by a development consent.
