What development may be carried out in the 2g Residential-General zone?
15 What development may be carried out in the 2g Residential-General zone?
(1) Development for the purpose of the following is allowed without
development consent within the 2g Residential-General zone: • utility
installations.
(2) Development for the purpose of the following is allowed
only with development consent within the 2g Residential-General zone: • bed
and breakfast establishments,
• caravan parks where reticulated water and
sewerage services are provided,
• child care centres,
• community
centres,
• dual occupancies,
• dwelling-houses,
• educational
establishments,
• exhibition homes,
• general stores,
• home
businesses,
• hospitals,
• housing for older people or people with a
disability,
• integrated housing where reticulated water and sewerage
services are provided,
• land clearing,
• manufactured home estates
where reticulated water and sewerage services are provided,
• places of
assembly,
• places of worship,
• public authority premises,
•
recreation areas,
• roads,
• telecommunications facilities,
• waste
collection centres.
(3) Development not included in subclause (1) or (2) is
prohibited within the 2g Residential-General zone.
