Offence of disposing of articles that do not carry warnings
25 Offence of disposing of articles that do not carry warnings
(1) A person served with a notice under clause 24 must not dispose of an
electrical article of the model specified in the notice: (a) unless all the
directions specified in the notice appear at the time of the disposal in
relation to the article and in accordance with the notice, or
(b) if a
representation that is inconsistent with any such direction appears in
relation to the article at the time of the disposal.
Maximum penalty: 40
penalty units.
(2) In this clause,
"dispose" means dispose by sale and by any other means specified in the
relevant notice.
