Variation of charges under a negotiated customer contract
22 Variation of charges under a negotiated customer contract
(1) A variation in the rates of charges for connection services provided or
electricity supplied by a licence holder under a negotiated customer contract
with a small retail customer has no effect, and may not be imposed, unless a
written notice setting out particulars of the variation is served on the
customer.
(2) The particulars to be set out in such a notice must: (a)
specify the date on or after which the variation is to take effect being a
date that is later than the date the notice is served, and
(b) include a
statement of the new rates or the amount of the variation.
