New South Wales Consolidated Regulations New South Wales Consolidated RegulationsImmediately after the completion of gasfitting work on a gas installation, the person responsible for the carrying out of the work:
(a) in the case of work comprising the installation of a new gas installation:(i) must inspect all gas containers, gas regulators and gas appliances connected to the installation, and(ii) must test the whole installation for patent defects, or
(b) in the case of work comprising the alteration, extension or repair of an existing gas installation:Contravention of this clause is an offence and is punishable in accordance with clause 33.(i) must inspect such part of the installation as has been altered, extended or repaired, and(ii) must inspect all gas containers, gas regulators and gas appliances connected to such part of the installation as has been altered, extended or repaired, and(iii) must test the whole installation for patent defects.
