New South Wales Consolidated RegulationsThe qualifications for election as a member of the Council are as follows:
(a) in the case of the election of an academic staff member under section 9 (1) (d) of the Act-the candidate must have his or her name entered on the Roll of Academic Staff at the close of nominations for that election,
(b) in the case of the election of a general staff member under section 9 (1) (e) of the Act-the candidate must have his or her name entered on the Roll of General Staff at the close of nominations for that election,
(c) in the case of the election of an undergraduate student member under section 9 (1) (f) of the Act- the candidate, as at the close of the nominations for that election, must:(i) be enrolled in a course of studies of at least 2 years’ duration leading to an undergraduate award, and(ii) have his or her name entered on the Roll of Undergraduate Students,
(d) in the case of the election of a postgraduate student member under section 9 (1) (f) of the Act- the candidate, as at the close of the nominations for that election, must:(i) be enrolled in a course of studies of at least 2 years’ duration leading to a postgraduate award, and(ii) have his or her name entered on the Roll of Postgraduate Students.
