New South Wales Consolidated Regulations New South Wales Consolidated RegulationsIn the event that a casual vacancy occurs in the office of a member appointed under section 9 (1) (c) of the Act, the Council may appoint an external person on the recommendation of the Council Nominations Committee.
Note: Under clause 3 of Schedule 1 to the Act, the by-laws may prescribe procedures for the appointment or election of a person to fill a casual vacancy.
