New South Wales Consolidated Regulations New South Wales Consolidated RegulationsUnless it is impracticable or inappropriate to do so, the Court is to adjourn criminal proceedings against a child or young person who is unaccompanied by a person with parental responsibility, or care responsibility, for the child or young person (within the meaning of the Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Act 1998 ), so as to give such a person a reasonable opportunity to appear and address the Court on matters relating to the proceedings.
