Adequacy of services to be considered
45 Adequacy of services to be considered
(1) Consent must not be granted for the erection of a building, the carrying
out of a work or a change of building use unless the consent authority is
satisfied that adequate arrangements have been made for any provision or
augmentation of the following that will be needed because of the carrying out
of the proposed development: (a) a water supply, and sewerage or drainage
services,
(b) an electricity supply or telephone service,
(c) roads.
(2)
Consent must not be granted to the carrying out of development for the purpose
of apartment buildings, exhibition villages, shop-top housing, town-houses or
villas unless the development is able to be connected to a Sydney Water
Corporation sewerage system.
