72 Liability of officers under Act

(1) Any matter or thing done by the Director-General, a conference administrator, a conference convenor, a person giving a caution (other than a police officer or specialist youth officer) or a person acting under the direction of the Director-General, conference administrator or convenor does not subject the Director-General, conference administrator, conference convenor or person so acting personally to any action, liability, claim or demand if the matter or thing was done in good faith for the purpose of executing this or any other Act.

(2) A person referred to in subsection (1) is not liable for an offence under section 316 (1) of the Crimes Act 1900 in respect of information obtained by the person in the course of a conference.
