YOUNG OFFENDERS ACT 1997 - SECT 46

46 Location of conferences

(1) A conference may be held at a location agreed by the participants and the conference convenor but may not be held at a police station, a court house or any office of the Department of Juvenile Justice.

(2) Without limiting subsection (1), a conference may be held at a detention centre, within the meaning of the Children (Detention Centres) Act 1987 , if the child who is the subject of the conference is detained in the detention centre.
