Service of notices236 Service of notices

A notice required or authorised to be given to, or served on, a person by or
under this Act or the 1987 Act must be in writing and must be given to, or
served on, that person--
(a) personally or by post, or
(b) if a manner of giving or serving the notice is prescribed by or under this Act or the 1987 Act, in the manner so prescribed.
