WILDERNESS ACT 1987 - SECT 20

20 Provisions relating to Crown land leases

(1) This section applies to land leased under the Crown Lands Consolidation Act 1913 , the Closer Settlement Acts or the Western Lands Act 1901 or any Act replacing them where the land has been identified by the Director as wilderness and notice of that identification has been given by the Minister to the Minister administering the Act under which the land is leased.

(2) The Minister administering the Act under which the land is leased shall not under that Act:

(a) approve any change in use, or

(b) approve the conversion, sale or disposal,

of land to which this section applies, without consulting the Minister administering this Act.
